NOTICE:
We have upgraded the Records Module. You will now be asked if this is your first time logging to register and provide a User Name and Password and Email Address. Your User Name should be something easy for you to remember and will uniquely identify you. Your Password can be changed, if you wish, at a later date. Your email address is for contact purposes and is also required if you wish to change your password.
Your will then be asked for your actual Name (s) - first and second name - and your Name will appear exactly as you enter it on all Records submitted.
After you have registered, you will in future be asked to enter User Name and Password only when submitting records. But, you may elect to have this information stored on your computer [as e,g. for email to avoid entering details each time.]
You can change your password at a late date after logging in. You will find the link at the bottom of the page.
If you have any difficulties, or would like a copy of your user name and
password to be retained by ButterflyIreland, please Contact
us.
If you are having problems submitting records, check for a message at the top of your screen - your browser settings may be blocking you from the website database, or your may need to download Java Script which should be easy to do - just keep saying "yes" to questions asked!
If you browser is Internet Explorer 8 or 9, you well be having difficulty due to ActiveX filtering.... This is a problem arising from your browser's security setting which it should be possible for you to resolve by changing ActiveX Security setting within you firewall ...
Mozilla Firefox may also download JavaScript and click yes at each stage of downloading. Or you may need to check in your Tools/Internet options to ensure that Java is eanbled.
If all else fails then please email your records, with grid references etc.
